Anonymous Matching Grant to “Get Tito to Gloria’s Build!”
We have a $1000 Anonymous Matching Grant to start “Get Tito to Gloria’s Build!” It would be extremely helpful to have our UOCO Executive Director, Tito, a Nuerman who lives in exile in Kenya, travel to stay at our school site for the building of the compound with Gloria’s Grant. He can take time off from his work, but will not get paid during time off from his intense work with a conflict zone hospital organization. Even taking time off, Tito will still have his family to support (six kids and he adopted Khan and he started this school) and he’ll still have bills to pay family bills while in Leer to supervise.
Our goal is $10,000 for his three months away; we have that first $1,000 commitment as a Matching Grant. Our hope is to leverage more funds for this important concern without sacrificing the needed donations for food and staff at the school. Please note “Tito” on the memo line. All ideas are welcome!
Can’t donate money but still want to help? We need airline miles for the board to make a trip to the school next summer and donations are welcome!
